Buddhist monk Thich Quang Duc, protest Vietnamese government oppression of Buddhists, poured gasoline over his body and set himself on fire. He maintained his meditative posture as his body burned. Pulitzer Prize winning photo by Malcolm W. Browne. Saigon 1963.
