Description
The GRABLE Shot used a 280mm artillery gun to fire a 15 kiloton nuclear shell. 12 officers were only 1,830 meters, and another 590 soldiers were 3,660 meters from ground zero. May 25, 1953. It was the first and only time an atomic artillery shell was fired.
