Description
Frank Costello (1891-1973), testifying before the Kefauver Committee investigating organized crime in March 1951. Costello resisted appearing, took the 5th amendment, and occasionally replied with arrogance. This exposure eroded his power and he would later be replaced by Vito Genovese as boss of the Luciano crime family.
