Fulton John Sheen, was a prominent Catholic priest by the age of 35. He hosted the radio program 'The Catholic Hour' from 1930–1950 and later, a 'Life Is Worth Living ' on television from 1951–1957. His TV show was scheduled against the very popular Milton Berle, but still drew an audience. When he accepted his 1952, Emmy Award, he acknowledged his writers, 'Matthew, Mark, Luke and John' (BSLOC_2013_9_93)
